In order to accomplish the goals, emphasis is placed on "doing" in the laboratory as the bulk of the assignment. Class lectures (1 hour per week) will normally precede the laboratory work. Topics shall be integrated with projects that originate from manufacturer design specifications. Computer Aided Drafting (CADD) will be utilized for assembly and detail preparation. CAD competency will be developed to the level of an industrial CAD drafter. Word Processing, Spreadsheet, graphing and/or database preparation is also developed to industrial levels.
