SCT 212: Internship II

Seventy-five hours of supervised internship will allow the student to gain experience with technology in workplace settings. The second internship serves as more indepth, hands-on experience in the workplace by requiring students to perform more sophisticated standard operating procedures, safety and contamination control procedures, and to write reports. The student is expected to demonstrate competence in general skills of critical thinking, communication and interpersonal relations, as well as competence in technical skills of chemistry, computers and mathematics. internship ii is completed during the last semester in the program. Prerequisite: SCT 211 Co-requisite: SCT 204 note: To be admitted or continue in any nursing and occupational Therapy Assistant Program, Anatomy/Physiology and Labs can be repeated only once. This includes transfer credits and withdrawal from the course.
