The focus is on aesthetic decision-making as it pertains to pre-press issues and problems that arise during the production phase of creating digital artwork. Students will learn how to add functionality to Web sites with scripting and server side technologies including advanced HTML/XHTML, PHP, MySQL programming and content management solutions. Students will also examine methods for integrating these technologies with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to incorporate the elements of design into Web site content.
