By viewing very reputable films, both from Spain and Spanish America, the student becomes aware of the linguistic as well as the social differences in the various areas where Spanish is spoken. The objectives will be multiple: to appreciate the art of filmmaking, to improve comprehension of the spoken language, to increase vocabulary, to examine cultural differences and to perfect the spoken language through dialogue and discussion.
