Volleyball (8 weeks): Instruction in the beginning and intermediate skills needed to play recreational volleyball: rules, etiquette, technique, and skill development. This course will not include participation in power volleyball. Tennis (7 weeks): Instruction in the beginning and intermediate skills needed to play tennis: fundamentals, technique, rules, strategy, game etiquette, doubles and singles. ( 1 semester hour) Spring

A course of light-impact aerobic activities. This class will be an integration of a variety of exercises that increase cardiovascular strength and stamina. The course will also promote an awareness of the benefits of regular aerobic exercise. ( 1 semester hour) Fall/Spring

This off-campus course explores basic bowling skills. Includes fundamentals, beginning to advanced techniques, and etiquette on the lanes. Note: A fee per game will be charged for this course. ( 1 semester hour) Fall

This course is designed to give the student an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in beginning classic cross-country skiing, as well as experience the physical and environmental challenges that the sport offers. Students will be taught ski techniques, equipment selection, and outdoor safety information. Students need to have the physical stamina to be able to exert the physical effort necessary in this sport. Note: Minimum additional fee of $150. ( 1 semester hour) Spring

A beginning course in rock climbing. Basic techniques will be taught concerning knots, belaying, rappelling, climbing, anchoring, safety and equipment. The focus will be on top-rope climbing only. ( 1 semester hour) Summer
