An introduction to "generic" Buddhist philosophy asthe basis for Tibetan Buddhist philosophy. Emphasis is placed on the four noble truths, the eightfold path, the four immeasurables, and the virtues. The Early Schools and the Mahayana and Vajrayana paths are explained, as well as the major philosophical positions in Buddhism.
