    This is a further continuation of Acting I. Students are given a deeper approach to basic characterization and are taught how to create a role. Students learn how to create a role with emphasis on script breakdown, scoring a part, approaches to style, and individual problem solving. An emphasis is placed on timing and subtle vocal and body expression. Students are also introduced to the techniques of period acting styles and in different media.     This course gives the student the theory and application of practice of how to select, mount, and market a children's theatrical production. The student gains an understanding of the complexities of such a production. By testing and displaying his/her skills in a practical production situation, the student becomes more aware of his/her abilities as an artistcreator. The students will be involved in all phases of mounting a children's theatre production which will be performed before South Jersey elementary school children. Lecture ( 45.00)

    This course is designed to introduce the student to the elements of a theatre production "behind the scenes", through theory, workshop, and stage crew experiences. Subjects covered include set construction and design, paint and color, lighting instruments, lighting design and execution, sound creation, makeup, and stage management. Lecture ( 45.00)

    This is a practicum course wherein students receive credits for doing work, such as painting, acting, carpentry, publicity, stage-managing, etc., for the College production. NOTE: All Theatre majors are required to participate in Production and Performance. Some productions will be acted and directed by the students themselves. Laboratory ( 30.00)
