The literature stands as testimony to the broad range of Holocaust experiences, both sorrowful and inspirational. These events are re-experienced through fiction, dramatic works, memoirs, diaries, film and guest lecturers, and artists. It includes selected works by men and women, Jews and non-Jews, figures famous and unknown, eyewitnesses, survivors, and second- and third-generation writers. 3/0/0

This developmental course is designed for students who have not taken a full year of high school algebra or who require a review of certain topics in elementary algebra. It focuses on signed numbers, polynomial expressions and their operations, rational algebraic expressions, factoring, the solving and graphing of first degree equations in one variable, and systems of linear equations (algebraic and graphic solutions). *Credits do not apply toward graduation.
