Participants will hear presentations about the country's religious history, including the history of Christian missionary activity. They will learn about the beliefs and practices of the indigenous religion(s) and observe how those religions are practiced by visiting temples, mosques, and shrines. Together with Christian leaders in the country, students will reflect on the future of the Christian church as it addresses issues of interreligious dialogue, ecumenism, missions, and social services.
