Its refined grammar and poetry have led to its widespread use in worship, scholarly discourse, and religious writing. In this course, students learn how to read and recite classical Sanskrit poetry, as well as basic grammar and vocabulary. Students then use these skills as a means of entrance into Sanskrit sacred literature.
