BIOL 330: Animal Behavior

This course is an introduction to the biological study of animal behavior with emphasis on its adaptive nature. A consideration of scientific methodology as applied to animal behavior studies is included. Assignments include readings in the primary and secondary literature. The course includes a class field trip to a zoo and an independent project involving animal observations. Three hours of lecture per week. PRQ: BIOL 101 and BIOL 103 or instructor permission.
