It begins with the exploration e-mail, instant messaging and text messaging, and their positive and negative effects on personal communication. The course will then examine Web writing for mass communication, including how to write Web articles, engaging headlines, creating hyperlinks and producing interesting charts and graphics. The course also will explore interactive writing, including web journaling or "blogging" and message boards. Finally, students will work on a group project to create Website to display their writings.
