Human systems may be studied as they relate to the major topics. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship of the issues to the individual and society. Continuation of Biology 121. Organismal Biology, Ecology and Evolution. An introduction to structure and function of major groups of microorganisms, fungi, animals, and plants. A course oriented toward creating scientific awareness of the health hazards associated with the exposure to various chemical and physical agents. Student learns to avoid the misuse and addiction to over-the-counter or prescription drugs and minimizes the stress factors which cause abnormal physiological response.
