    University Studies II (2) CSU 091 is an intensive, fast paced course designed to orientate transfer students to Chicago State University's mission, policies and procedures, programs and support services. The course also introduces students to discipline-specific requirements and expectations. Specifically, the course is designed to promote: learning and study strategies with respect to the discipline, understanding of the curriculum in the major field, utilization of the internet and other electronic media as research tools and preparation for internships as well as application to graduate school and entry to the world of work. The course is required for transfer students who fail two or more basic skills examinations.
