    DIVERSITY AND ETHICS IN SOCIAL WORK (3) The history and contemporary life experiences of disadvantaged, marginalized and oppressed people are addressed. Theoretical knowledge and experiential awareness of oppression, prejudice and discrimination are analyzed as a contextual foundation for ethical and culturally competent practice with diverse, urban populations-at-risk. The NASW Code of Ethics serves as the framework for ethical analysis.
