    LEADERSHIP & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT (3) This course will focus on the role of the professional in Special Education and the understanding of teaching as a profession. Information covered will consist of appropriate ethical principles and standards special educators have to abide by, and professional conduct, growth, and development. Federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the implementation of special education leadership and services, including analysis of organizational and financial structures of special education programs in Illinois, will also be included.
