Prerequisite: enGl& 101 or WRIT 101, ECE205 and 10 credits of methods courses or current elementary teaching certificate or instructor's permission.

Roles of consultants and teachers, professionalism, adult learning theory, course design, group facilitation, and performance assessment. Development of economic thought from mercantilism to the present. An examination of the ideas of the great economists and the impact of these ideas on their times. An analysis of the relation of economic thought to scientific, social and political thought, as well as its impact on the environment over time.
