Class includes lecture, palpation, and an online component. Prerequisite: MASST 105.

Introduction to theory and technique of Swedish massage incorporated into a full-body relaxation massage. Includes adaptations for pregnancy and geriatric massage, as well as proper draping techniques and use of massage equipment. Course includes online component.

Students learn appropriate application and benefits of cold, warm, and hot applications in the massage setting. Use of herbal treatments and hot and cold packs in the context of providing wellness and relaxation massage is explored.
