Topics include geometry, measurement, and numeric and algebraic concepts. A variety of applications are included. Topics include algebraic and numeric topics, functions, and graphs; collection, display, analysis, and interpretation of data; probability of simple and compound events; and making and testing conjectures using statistics and probability. This course emphasizes deep conceptual understanding of content, connections among topics, and communication of mathematical ideas. Appropriate technology is incorporated.
