[satisfies senior capstone university graduation requirement.] Prerequisite: Senior standing The course is designed as the capstone for athletic training majors. It will focus on the administrative and management responsibilities required when working in the field of sports medicine including job requirements and problems faced as a professional. There will be group and individual projects and presentations related to sports medicine and athletic training, including a culminating project that will be assessed by class peers and professionals in the related field. The final project will require students to work in groups to design an athletic training facility, addressing facility and equipment selection and organization, personnel selection and management, legal liability, insurance and budgeting.
