Courses presenting the basics of vocal technique, interpretation, and communication through discussion, listening, and individual coaching. Meets twice a week for one hour. May be taken as an elective for non-music majors. Prerequisite for private voice instruction.

An introductory course in piano technique. Course numbers represent difficulty level. May be taken as an elective for non-music majors or in preparation for the piano proficiency by music majors. Private Instruction These courses are designed for the more advanced student. Literature and technical studies will be assigned based on the student's level of achievement. Instruction is sequential and the student must complete each course number with a passing grade before enrolling in the following course number.
