The purpose of this course is to learn how research studies are designed to answer specific clinical questions, and how the study design is important in interpreting the results of the studies. Students will apply research design concepts and statistical techniques to design, critically analyze, and interpret preclinical, clinical, and economic studies of pharmaceuticals and treatment plans.
