Major areas of human relations skills necessary for managing employees and customers in merchandising and hospitality management are studied. Analysis and evaluation of asset structures, capital structures, cost of capital, and capital budgeting for hospitality firms. Determination of financial aspects of hotel valuation. Evaluation and comparison of the financial value, worth, and health of hospitality firms.
