3 credits This course strengthens the student's emerging identity within the social work profession. Students review and critique theoretical frameworks and practice situations studied in the Social Work Program curriculum. As the capstone course for the Social Work Program, students have the final opportunity to integrate the nine professional foundation areas, with particular emphasis on professional values and ethics. It explores the multiplicity fo women's voices and of women's histories as expressed through race, class, sexual identity, religious affiliation, and physical disability/ability and explores a range of issues that affect women's lives including work, health, education, family and sexuality.
