Students hone their editorial and design skills as well as their computer skills and knowledge of several applications. While it is at once an advanced course in the practice of desktop publishing and in pre-print software, such as Quark Xpress, it also introduces students to non-print publishing concepts and practices, such as those of the World Wide Web.
