With the permission of the Human Services Program Coordinator, senior level stu.dents will be provided the opportunity to demonstrate skills learned throughout the Human Services degree program. Through writing assignments, role play, lecture, site visits, portfolio development, and a service project that contributes to the field, students will demonstrate their mastery of the program goals for the Human Services degree.

The practicum aims to provide a service to the community and enable the student to acquire the skills, experience, and knowledge necessary for the choice of a career. Students must complete 40 documented hours of field work for each credit earned.
