This course will be presented in two subsequent sessions. In session I students will learn to perform a cardiac ultrasound study including M-mode, PW and CW Doppler, Color Flow Doppler and required calculations. Session II will include the detection and assessment of acquired and adult congenital cardiac diseases. These topics will be presented in a lecture setting utilizing the M-mode, PW and CW Doppler, Color Flow Doppler techniques as well as the appropriate calculations taught in Session I. 6 hours lecture per week for 16 weeks. Prerequisite: CV 322. Corequisite: CV 323.
