This is an advanced course in digital photography taught within a fine arts context. Contemporary art concepts and techniques are explored, such as sequencing, advanced and experimental printing, time-based media, projection, installation, and cross-disciplinary approaches. Students are required to research, develop, and produce a mature body of work that relates to course topics. A research presentation is required. A mature body of work is completed and exhibited publicly at the end of the semester. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively. This course may be repeated for credit. A lab fee is required.
