The students will explore the role of reading and writing in the content areas. Students will develop an understanding of language acquisition and language learners. Emphasis will be placed on developing the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills of all students. Students will develop materials using various strategies for vocabulary, comprehension, and study skills in the content areas. Students will participate in field work for at least twenty (20) hours beyond class time.
