MUS 112: Beginning Vocal Skills I

Three Credits LA This elementary voice class is designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of singing and performance preparation, including singing diction in Italian, IPA, and song interpretation. Singing with a natural sound and a relaxed feeling is encouraged. Class participation is essential and the student is expected to perform in a recital at the end of the semester. Offered every fall. Participation in Marist College Singers twice per week is strongly encouraged.
