German is spoken by about 120 million people in Central Europe as an official language and is also extensively used as a second language. This course will provide the participant with words, phrases and sentences for their communication needs if they are either a traveler or a foreign resident in any German speaking area. This course is also for the participant who would like to broaden their knowledge by experiencing another language. With instruction and exposure to the German language through dialogue role playing, reading, writing and listening to poetry, music and short stories, the participant can appreciate the richness of the German Language.
