This course covers the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular emphasis on listening and speaking. The primary goal of this course is to teach communicative competence. This course will prepare students to use English for everyday purposes with a focus on student-generated communication. Subjects will include, but not be limited to: alphabet, numbers, salutations, titles, classroom objects, telephone etiquette, personal items, countries, nationalities, time, transportation, calendars, weather, occupations and money.
