Topics include study skills, critical thinking skills, library education, exploration ofmajors and careers, degree programs, campus resources, and personal development. Prerequisite: MUS 101. Modulation, ninth/eleventh/thirteenth chords, jazz harmonization, modal, non-tertian, and twentieth century harmony, serialism, four-part writing, harmonic analysis, rhythm, sight-singing, melodic/harmonic dictation, keyboard harmony.
