IECE 490: STUDENT TEACHING

Effective Fall 2009 Prerequisites: Completion of all required and elective courses in the IECE baccalaureate program and admission to teacher education and admission to student teaching; overall GPA of 2.5 or higher, and completion of all professional education courses with a grade of "C" or higher. Supervised assignment in approved setting where young children with and without disabilities and their families are served. Must complete a minimum of sixteen weeks in one or two placements depending on certification requirements. Students follow the academic calendar of the setting in which they are placed and are responsible for providing their own transportation to assigned site(s).
