SWK 525: Case Management:Theory and Practice

This course will address the theory and practice of effective case management and the skills necessary to assess the client situation and to optimize client functioning. This course will focus on a diverse population of vulnerable clients across various practice settings. The settings emphasized include medical/health, educational, psychiatric and services to the elderly. Policy issues will be addressed, as they relate to advocacy, service planning, and program design. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. (Same as HCA 525)
