This experiential course provides the student an additional opportunity to apply theory and skills learned in the classroom, learn new skills, and explore career possibilities while supervised by a professional in the field and a faculty member. Student will observe and participate in the functions of the Hospitality industry to enhance their preparatin for entering the field. Student is required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of supervised work experience in a position related to their academic or career goal. Corequisite: Must be concurrently enrolled in at least one class which is related to student's major or career interest or with permission of the instructor. Prerequisite: HRM:221 and be able to obtain a position related to student's academic or career goals (student's present job may qualify); or permission of instructor and Reading Proficiency.
