Techniques and concepts of orthodontic expanded function procedures delegated to dental assistants in the state of Missouri as specified in the rules and regulations set forth in the Missouri Dental Practice Act. Procedures include: preliminary bending of archwires, placement and cementation of bands and brackets, removal or orthodontic bands, and palliative care of orthodontic emergencies.
