This course will examine the various Rapid Prototyping Processes such as Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and Laminated Object Modeling (LOM). Laboratory activities will involve hands-on practice orienting, slicing and editing solid model files in order to generate 3D SLA and FDM physical models. Additional lab hours required.
