Provides practical application of theoretical information in personal training for exercise science students. Prerequisites: Kin 440 and senior status-majors only. Evaluation in Physical Education. (3) The selection, construction, administration, and evaluation of measurement instruments used in physical education school curricula. Organization and Administration of Physical Education and Athletics. (2) Investigation of administrative principles and policies as they relate to budget, finance, equipment, staff, facilities, public relations, and legal issues in physical education and athletics. Health-Related Fitness Assessment II. (0) All majors must satisfactorily complete Fitness Assessment II during their last year. The assessment consists of four tests from the Fitnessgram and a blood pressure screening. The student must meet established departmental criteria for their last assessment. Students will enroll in the course during their final year at WIU. Prerequisites: senior standing; Kinesiology major, satisfactory completion of Kin 167. Graded S/U only.
