Observation and teaching in Chicagoarea schools (seven and one-half weeks each at the elementary and secondary levels), working under professional supervision in programs directly related to student's specifi c concentration. Presence during entire school day (8:00 am to 3:30 pm in most schools) required; no other University classes may be scheduled before 4:00 pm. Students must have completed minimum of 10 sem hrs in music education courses at Roosevelt. Prereq: Me 351; satisfactory completion of Basic /skills and Content Skills exams; departmental approval.
