An instructor-directed graduate level course of study that helps the student develop a personal visual language, explore a variety of aesthetic concepts, and investigate different processes while working with both traditional and non-traditional sculpture media/materials. Students will become familiar with contemporary art theories related to sculpture. The primary focus of this course of study is on the making of original works of art and integrating new understandings into one's personal pedagogy. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to Master of Arts in Art Education program. Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate Students Credits: 2 hours

This is a laboratory which relates to the topics covered in AVS 1220. It provides hands on familiarization and training with the construction, operation, and control of light aircraft systems. Students in AFAJ, AFBJ, AVAJ, MTCJ only. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: AVS 1220 or taken concurrently (recommend taking concurrently). Credits: 2 hours

Light aircraft systems and propulsion. Basic systems including engine, propeller, flight controls, electrical, fuel, landing gear and brakes. Principles of flight and control. Aerodynamics and performance, weight and balance. Flight physiology and the effects of flight on human performance, Includes a systems laboratory. Students in AFAJ and AFBJ only. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Department approval required, and AVS 1200, GEOG 1050, MATH 2000, PHYS 1070/1080 or PHYS 1130/1140. May be taken concurrently with AVS 1420. Credits: 8 hours
