Laboratory includes textural analysis, sedimentary structures, paleocurrent analysis, electric logs, subsurface maps, and application of statistical and computer methods to the solution of sedimentologic problems and basin analysis. Course includes a three-day field trip. This course is approved as a writing-intensive course which may fulfill the baccalaureate-level writing requirement of the student's curriculum.
