Alternative Care Settings will expose the HIT student to a variety of non-traditional settings for health information management. The students will be expected to rotate through various types of settings (ie, psychiatric facility, rehabilitation hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, prison system, health clinic and a physicians’ offi ce or clinic.)
