These courses provide instruction and participation in equestrian activities.Most riding courses involve approximately 90 minutes per week of mounted activity.Students majoring in Equestrian Studies are expected to provide their own equipment.An additional course fee is required for each of these courses. Students in the course spend two to four hours per week developing skills as a riding instructor by working with student-learners monitored by a coach.The course includes preparation for ARIA certification.
