The directed teaching experience provides secondary teacher candidates with opportunities to teach multilingual learners using research-based instructional strategies and assessments. Candidates will have the opportunity to implement pedagogy and related best instructional practices for secondary students learning English as a second language. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: EDI 331, ENG 261, ENG 363, ENG 364, ENG 365, ENG 366, ENG 465, and permit required. Corequisites: EDI 431 and EDI 432.
