This course serves as part one of the capstone of the e-commerce A.A.S. degree. In this portion of the capstone project, students select a business, the hardware and software, set up security for the web site and market the venture. To the maximum extent possible, student projects are in conjunction with businesses or organizations as clients. The capstone project covers two quarters to allow adequate time for students to deal with a fully operational e-commerce site. Subsequent enrollment in E-Commerce Capstone Project II is required.
