System Analysis and Design introduces the student to the tasks performed by systems analysts and the process that is used to complete successful projects. This course presents the life cycle of a computer system, the tools used by the systems analyst in each phase, and the role of the systems analyst within that life cycle. Stressing the importance of functioning as a member of a team, the course presents techniques to successfully manage a project, as well as communication with other members of the team and the organization. It serves as a capstone course, applying all the knowledge the student has gained into a final cohesive project. Prerequisite(s): CPT 196
