Historical and recent developments in the application of behavioral science knowledge and methodology to the understanding and treatment of cancer and the cancer patient will be examined. The role of psychosocial factors in the etiology, prevention, and treatment of cancer will be explored. Emphasis will be placed upon the interaction of biological, psychological, and social factors throughout the course of cancer. Prereq: Graduate standing.
