    The capstone culminates your master's degree program at Western Governors University. This course of study is your guide to successfully completing the project. It explains what the capstone is and outlines its essential parts. Expect to spend about 16-18 weeks on this project. When you are ready to begin working on it, you will be assigned to a capstone facilitator. This will be either your own WGU mentor or another mentor with the expertise necessary to guide and advise you as you complete each step of the process.
