DANC 299: Dance Rehearsal and Production

This course provides dance majors and minors the opportunity to receive credit for the numerous hours spent in rehearsals and performances. Students will select specific activities and then develop a contract for completion of responsibilities and evaluation. Tasks may include choreographer, rehearsal assistant, rehearsal and performance as a dancer, publicity or as member of the technical support staff during performance (stage manager, running crew, usher, lighting). This course requires an audition and/or permission of the faculty member of record. Both 299 and 499 may be repeated up to 4 credits.
